Artist's Description

This is a portrait of the wonderful "noses" of the classic Porsche 356 Speedster. This was painted as a raffle prize for the The Speedster Owners Club, at their annual get together at the Kit Car Nationals in Carlisle, PA. You can't help but smile back.

About Heidi Gallo

Heidi Gallo

Heidi has studied watercolor painting with various instructors on Cape Cod since 1994. She has a diploma in visual design from the School of the Worcester Art Museum/Clark University, where she majored in photography and graphic design. She had studied oil painting in school, but had no experience with watercolor. Heidi moved to the Cape in 1991. She loved the look of watercolor paintings she had seen in local galleries, so decided to take a class. "I was amazed at how difficult it was at first. Watercolor has a mind of it's own, and the hardest thing to learn, is to leave it alone and let it do it's thing. It constantly fascinates and surprises me in every painting that I do.
